Chicago-based artist Keyan7e’s latest track, ‘I aint finished the song yet’ is an interesting track with a unique back story. This self-described “fusion of life experiences” started out as a series of improvisations that were turned into a single before the track was even completed. It sits at just two minutes long, but gets its point across comfortably in that tune. Jazzy keys sit low in the texture, with wandering backing vocal samples and the warm hit of synth bells completing the kaleidoscopic beat.
